I’m a real estate investor in the Chicago area. I'm currently interested in flips to generate cash for value-add buy and holds on the south and north side of the city. I'm also looking to work with a rehab crew to learn more about the construction process. Experience: My wife and I completed our first set of deals in September of 2015. We purchased a 2/1 condo in the West Town neighborhood along with a 4 flat in Avondale. We rehabbed all 5 units in 4 months and we currently live in the garden apartment of the 4 flat. The majority of the work was done by us minus the new plumbing supply lines and some minor tuck-pointing. The rehab of these 5 units took far longer than we anticipated but the knowledge we gained was invaluable. Real Estate Goals: My goal is to learn multiple real estate strategies to help increase my knowledge base while gaining financial freedom. Currently Seeking: I am currently seeking to network with experienced investors, possible mentors and potential partners. I’m currently seeking distressed assets on the south side of Chicago. I’m also seeking a good General Contractor and Property Management firm.
