I owned my first home in my mid twenties, and then upgraded every few years from there. I now own a primary residence and a vacation rental condo in the Winter Park area of Colorado. I've also managed a few fix n' flips along the way. Experience: In 2012 I purchased my first condo in a Colorado ski resort mountain town. I rehabbed and then marketed it as a pet-friendly, short term vacation rental (http://sasquatch.vacations). About 5 years later, this property has an ARV of almost 4x the purchase price and has been generating a significant annual profit with minimal management. I have since mortgaged it and used that money to purchase additional short term and traditional rental units. Real Estate Goals: I call my goal 50/50/50 - 50 units providing 50K income annually, by age 50. I've been doing the 9-5 for quite some time, and a bit of real estate on the side, I'd like to transition fully away from punching a clock to acquiring residential assets producing good returns. Currently Seeking: Multi Family property deals in growth and up and coming markets. Private funding for Buy and Hold deals (less than 8%). Potential partners that are currently doing what I plan to achieve.
