For the past 6 years I have worked as an independent landman in the oil business. The experience that I gained while researching mineral ownership gave me an in depth (no pun intended) understanding of how title works, is conveyed, and the most common mistakes that people make with property ownership. In addition to understanding property title in the state of Texas and Pennsylvania, I gained an immense amount of experience with negotiations and the contracts, agreements, and forms that follow successful negotiations. I am still working as a landman in various capacities, mostly for private landowners and am the owner of a land service company based in San Antonio.
