I am a dad of three wonderful children, my oldest daughter is 12, my son is 10 and my second daughter is 8 months. I enjoy spending time with them along side my beautiful wife of almost 10 years. They are the ultimate reason for my investing in real estate as I am on the path to financial freedom and freedom of time. Experience: I started my real estate journey not long after graduating college. I was one of the many people that read Rich Dad Poor Dad and I wanted the life of the rich dad, so I began my journey in real estate. I purchased my first two properties in 2003 which I owned and managed for approximately three years. I moved to Virginia, due to my job, and found it difficult to manage from a distance so I sold both properties and focused on my career. If I would have known then what I know now I would have never sold those properties, found a property manager and continued to build my portfolio. I recently started back into real estate in early 2016 with the purchase of my first property through online auction. I purchased this property with the intention of flipping it to gain quick cash to allow me to purchase another property. I have since decided to keep that property and use it as a rental. Within five months of my first purchase, I purchased a second SFH, rehabbed, rented, and refinanced. In addition to the first two purchases, I purchased two duplexes, one purchase using private money and the second using owner financing. These two properties were located within my college town which I use as college rentals. It was a busy year in 2016. Real Estate Goals: Looking for distressed properties to fix up and use as rental properties for the passive income and long term wealth. I would like to make my next purchase a triplex or fourplex. My long term goal, is to be able to replace my income from my job, with passive income from real estate. I want to own $5,000,000 worth of property leveraged at no more than 50% by 2027. Currently Seeking: Help and guidance in growing my business to reach my long term and short term goals. Also looking for new ways to raise capital for continued investment into real estate.
