I live in midcoast Maine with my husband and 4 year old twins. My husband and I bought our first, 2 unit property 5 years ago and house hacked for 4 years, then managed to hold on to that property -rent both units - and purchased our current home, which also has an apartment that we were using for short term rentals. We were just getting some momentum with our short term rental when Covid hit, so we pivoted and are doing 3-6 month corporate leases on 2 units and a traditional lease on the 3rd unit. We are also just beginning the process of getting our ducks in a row to flip our first house!
