I originally started in Real Estate in 1984. I wanted to own property and rentals. I purchased 3 homes that same year. Myself & a partner created a buy out program which turned into 900 homes we bought from 1984 - 1993. Often we did creative financing with lease options. Many of these were flip homes. We just didn't call it that back then. I then sold new homes till 1999 and did numerous flip homes at the same time. I also built high end custom homes. Bad timing though for high end homes. Out of boredom I became a loan officer in 2000. With my background, investors became a big part of my clientele. Lending and especially listening and being creative as a broker has been very helpful. When I have the right client I do both the real estate side as a buyers agent and loan officer as a wholesale broker. Controlling both sides can have its benefits. No matter if I am the realtor and lender or just the lender, which is most common I love being on the same page with the buyer/borrower, the realtors and the title company. Smooth transactions can be achieved if a buyer/borrower understands the process. That's what I'm best at.
