Licensed structural engineer with prior commercial building design and assessment experience. Currently working for the private equity arm of a CRE investment management firm. I manage the physical underwriting and due diligence process for CRE transactions involving multifamily, office, retail, and industrial properties. The deals I underwrite vary across the risk/return spectrum, featuring core, core-plus, and value-add profiles. In terms of my personal investing goals - I plan to use my existing savings (depending on the deal size / location, potentially partner with other investors) to acquire a multifamily property and execute a value-add strategy, targeting a 3-5 year hold period.
