In 2012, I borrowed 10k from my father in law to put down on a FHA. Since then, we have generated 500k in real estate net worth simply by buying, living, appreciating, and timely selling. Recently, I have realized this could be compounded by purchasing additional properties that cash flow while having someone else pay down the principle, while it appreciates and provides tax incentives. So we jumped in the game head first.
