Author of the book, “Broke to A Quarter Million”, “The point is not to work, it is to generate income” Like most people my first glimpse of Real Estate as a business came from watching hours of HGTV. Those shows drove me to get excited about buying my first house, then kept me motivated while renovating it. I bought a single family home in 08, and gutted it to the studs/remodeled it while living in the property. I sold the house 4 years later and was able to recoup the money I had invested. I took that lump sum and used it as the down payment on a tri-plex and a duplex on the same lot (I requested that the sellers split the lot so I could finance the larger property as my primary residence with 5% and put the 20% down on the duplex). A year later I closed on a 4 family on the same street where I am cash-flowing $300 per unit. I also put 3.5% down on this house as it is owner occupied. In 2016 I had an estimated Net-Worth of $280K and am cash-flowing $3600 each month steadily. As of 2018 my Net-Worth was $800k and I currently own or am a partner on 12 buildings equal to 40+ Units for a cashflow of $10k per month. I am also a licensed Real Estate Agent in the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I am an expert in the Bristol County Market which includes Fall River and New Bedford. I am that extremely valuable Investor! As an update, my net-worth is currently $2.4MM as of 2020. I currently own 60 units with my business partner, a real estate training company, and a real estate agent team of 25 agents who ONLY work with Investors. My current goal for our company is to help build 100 Real Estate Millionaires on our journey for forming a 10,000 unit REIT together. Friendly REALTOR!
