I'm a physician based in Southern California, with a growing involvement in various real estate ventures. While I initially focused on owning single-family homes and participating in different types of syndications, my interests have expanded to more hands-on projects. These include high-end home flipping, short-term rentals, and ground-up construction of single-family homes and duplexes. However, my true passion lies in developing and managing RALs (Residential Assisted Living facilities for the elderly) in the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. With a focus on providing physician-centric care and expertise, we've grown our portfolio to include multiple senior living homes, with plans for further expansion. This niche is not only financially rewarding but also personally fulfilling, as I can actively use my medical skills and knowledge to improve the lives of our seniors. I attribute much of my success to the help, support, and advice I've received along the way. My goal on this forum is to share some of my experiences and insights, in the hope that others can learn from them and avoid some of the pitfalls I've encountered.
