Heather Watkins

I am a Realtor with SFR certification. I specialize in working with first time home buyers and investors to meet their long-term goals. I started Blue Timber Real Estate; an investment company focused in Humboldt County. I buy with creative financing and flip to the quality of FHA and VA standards. Each home that has been flipped has been sold to a first-time home buyer. The basis of Blue Timber Real Estate is a strong emphasis on philanthropy. I strongly believe in giving back to humanity in the work that I do. I also enjoy volunteering in the community and making connections with others. Previously a member of North Bay Rotaract, I am now an active board member for the Rio Dell-Scotia Chamber of Commerce and St Joseph's Hospital Foundation and an active member of Kiwanis of Rio Dell-Scotia. Born to deaf parents and fluent in ASL, makes me a unique, bilingual Real Estate Agent. Before joining eXp Realty, I taught Finance and Algebra at Fortuna Union High School. I still work from time to time as a Substitute Teacher. I spent seven years previous teaching in the field of retail management. ​ I graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt with an M.B.A in Strategic Sustainability and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son, Ryder, and in Humboldt’s great outdoors.
