Hi. I'm just starting out on my investing journey and am keen to learn as much as I can. I would like to meet like minded people as no one I know invests the way Robert Kiyosaki teaches. (Most are negatively gearing). Or educates themselves as to investing for that matter. Experience: I fell into the title real estate investor when I accepted a job in Sydney and started renting out my home in Melbourne. I became a landlord and a tenant for the first time both in the same month. Crazy. Now I'm seriously starting to think of investing, I need to learn about the whole process of buying a property with the intention of investing and was lucky enough to stumble on this amazing site. Real Estate Goals: For now, I would like to be secure as Rich Dad, Poor Dad calls it. But eventually, I want to get to the point of being rich. I want to build a portfolio that keeps me ahead of inflation and able to do what I like without worrying about the cost. Currently Seeking: I think my most important need at this point is to develop my financial education. I'm working through a Rich Dad coaching course, which is moving too fast for me to absorb. Now I know that I could probably have done the same thing here for free at my own pace, but the push and deadlines are useful, so I can't complain. My next problem will be to improve on my small amount of savings. The property market here in AU is a little crazy.
