I am an IT systems analyst. Experience: Kept our first home as a rental in 2008. Joined a RE education and mentoring group in 2013, then bought 12 single family rentals (SFR) over the next 36 months. Sold some SFRs starting 2016 and invested in first multi-family (MF) syndication as a limited partner. Have continued to sell of SFRs and invest as a limited partner in several other MF syndications and some mobile home parks (MHP). Real Estate Goals: Operate my SF portfolio as passively as possible. Pick up additional SFRs when it makes sense. Expand investing in RE syndications to grow capital and reinvest. Consider private money lending, notes, and other RE adjacent investing options. Currently Seeking: Investor-friendly syndications (favorable splits between sponsor/investors, transparency, track record) in MF, MHP, Self-storage.
