I entered the industry as an investor in 2013. A novice, internet-taught flipper with big dreams and shallow pockets. The process was a crash course in all things real estate. Buying, rehabbing, staging, selling, negotiating, open houses, forclosures, short sales, auctions, you name it. I overcame mistakes, broke my body and sacrificed social life. But what I learned was truly priceless. I've moved more times that I can count, lived in an airstream, toured the country in a van and recently bought my first rental property; a duplex in Rochester, MN. All the while I've studied the markets, honed my renovation skills and shared my knowledge with anybody willing to listen. As a new licensed real estate agent, I am so thrilled that I get to share my passion for real estate with other people. I have a unique set of skills and experiences that make me an expert in the field. More importantly, I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves, crawl under a porch or venture into a dark ancient basement. They say "different is better than better." But I'm both.
