Total real estate noob, though I've read a handful of books and listened to hundreds of hours of podcasts and YouTube. I'm an IT professional who was late to realize it's silly to imagine I could save enough money from my salary to retire on, so looking to real estate as the vehicle to create lasting income and wealth to support my family and allow me to live a life of purpose instead of wasting it on a 50hr/wk job and commuting 3hrs a day (though that is some good podcasting time!). Giving my 2 daughters a debt-free college education would be ideal. I'm here to learn and hopefully partner with someone who has the time and disposition share their experience and tools. I like analysis, systems and technology, but I also present well and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. Experience: Purchased 2 single family homes the traditional way, to be my primary residence. Sold the first to buy the 2nd, which I live in. Now looking to purchase investment properties. Real Estate Goals: Thinking of starting with Notes, but long-term, multi-family buy-and-holds seems the most stable passive income (going for the cash-flow play, not betting on appreciation).
