I'm an IT professional (Business/Data Analyst) by trade. I also have heavy background in Accounting and Finance. I started my career as a CPA and financial analyst but somehow veered off into the IT field. I have always been interested in finance and of late, Real Estate!! After many hours of internet research and a heavy dose of biggerpockets.com I'm convinced REI is where I want to be. Experience: I'm a newbie. I purchased my first starter home and later on upgraded to a bigger home but decided to keep the first home and have been renting it. Real Estate Goals: I plan to leverage REI to achieve financial independence, however my ultimate goal is really just to spend more time with my family.
