Mike Bryant

A serial Entrepreneur, Mike began his career in the restaurant business, working his way from Pizza Delivery Driver (at age 16!) to Regional Supervisor over a 20 year span. At age 40, Mike had had enough of the "rat race" and launched full-tilt into the world of entrepreneurship, with a focus on building a portfolio of real estate. With a few learning curves along the way, Mike places more value than ever on the power of real estate. In May 2014, he obtained his Real Estate Broker's License in Missouri, and is now focusing on working with investor buyers as well as first-time home buyers. In 2017, Mike and business partner Bob have launched BZKC Investment Properties, focusing on fix&flips, multi-family acquisitions and Private Lending. Mike resides in Lee's Summit, MO with his wife Ruth, and they have 4 children, ages 29-15. Experience: Mike caught the "real estate bug" in 1984. Still single at that time, he bought his first house for $15,000 in downtown Muncie, IN. The seller was a widow whose late husband had owned 13 rental houses. When he passed away, she sold all 13 of them, using a "land Contract" owner financing. "I learned much about real estate just meeting and talking to her. She took 10% down (a Visa cash advance for me - $1500) and carried a Note at 10% for 10 years. She created a nice income stream for herself, got a premium price for the houses, without having to be a landlord. It was brilliant - and I was hooked!" Since then Mike has bought and sold over 20 properties (off and on during his "rat race" years), and currently holds 14 units in the Kansas City area. Mike obtained his Real Estate Broker's license in 2014 and is currently active in acquiring rehab flips and multi-family "buy& hold". Real Estate Goals: Business Model consists of "Buy / Retail Flip", "Buy / Hold as Rental", and "Private Lending" in the local Kansas City area.
