Began to re-tool my credit 3 years ago and decided to do so in order to invest in real estate. Done! I’m positioned to purchase my first property through NACA as a first time home buyer. My focus is to house hack and looking closely at duplexes, triplexes etc. I have assembled a team of contractors, like minded investors and now looking for the money sources. I spent the past four years getting, since being a member of bigger pockets, placing the essentials so that I can be effectively busy. Experience: I sought out to buy a property years ago and this was my first taste of attempting to understand what is it to buying property. I did not win but, it was a small educating experience. My bid lost out as I found out later the individual who won the bid could not come to the table with the necessary funds. So I have returned and being about the education. Real Estate Goals: I would like to buy houses and rent out rooms with a common area for all in the house. I lived in such a place while in college. I also would like to purchase small multi-unit buildings.... duplex, 4 unit and possibly units of small garden condo types. It is my intention to be about rental properties and possibly small started homes for single families. Currently Seeking: Education at this time. I have begun working on a property which is not actually owned by me but my god-sister and the property has potential that she was not attentive to. I have a bank that is prepared to give me a loan of 50k and it is possible that I may assist as part investor for renting (it is located in a commercial/ residential) area and on two plots. This may be my first deal.
