Longer Story I love being outside and 'getting the goods in the woods' as one BP guests put it. I work part time as an EMT on Breckenridge Ski Patrol during the winter. Trail running, mountain biking and gravel riding are my main summer activities. In my 20's, I led trips all over North America for five summers, exploring the country, living in a tent and having very few expenses. I was able to save most of my money while getting paid to travel. That translated to our first down payment. Living frugally and house hacking helped my wife and I to buy our first rental property a few years later.
