My in laws are part time house flippers who are going to flip in the Mojave AZ area for retirement income and I am interested in buying homes in the same area for rental purposes. After a few homes I want to look into duplexes up to small apartments in the longer game. I am currently a full time service manager for an HVAC company in the Riverside CA area. I am looking to expand my sources of monthly income and to spend my spare time on more productive ventures. While looking for small business ideas I ran into Rich Dad Poor Dad and it sparked my interest in real-estate. I have been a Dave Ramsey fan for a long time and am still trying to decide if I can venture away form the "buy rental property with cash" mindset to taking on many mortgages for the different rental properties. I look forward to learning all I can about rental properties and buying my next properties.
