I've been investing in real estate on and off since I bought my first property while attending UC Berkeley where I purchased a 24 bedroom rooming house on fraternity row using none of my own money. I've invested in student housing, residential care for the elderly, apartments & condotels in Northern California, Tampa, FL & Honolulu, HI. For my personal residence, I'm looking to purchase a four (4) unit bldg in Oakland or San Leandro using an FHA loan. For investment purposes, I'm open to possibilities in emerging tertiary markets around the country. For the past 6 years, I've been employed as an accounting manager in commercial real estate. I worked for Colliers International in Honolulu where we managed over 300 properties. I currently work for family held real estate investment, management & development company in Oakland, California. I am open to investing in all parts of the country.
