I'm an engineer by undergraduate training and then a lawyer by graduate training. My wife and I purchased our first property in 2015 off-market and for a really nice discount (and the property appraised for more than we expected so that was some extra equity on purchase). I read about a book a week. From March 2016 through to the end of 2016, I read over 60 books on personal development, real estate, and investing. That trend has continued in 2017 where I continue to read at least one book a week. And, in June of 2016, I discovered Bigger Pockets. Since then, I devoured all of the podcasts (2x speed). When I'm not analyzing deals, I'm working as a tech entrepreneur.
