Hello! Hi! I'm new to RE investing, having been educating myself over the last 3 months through the bigger pockets website, and through reading/audiobooks. My career background is in Account Sales and CRM, as well as owning/operating a Catering company successfully for 5 years (no longer operating). I am currently looking to return to uni here in Berlin, where I am working towards studying Finance and Economics. I am greatly attracted to RE as a wealth building vehicle for all the well known reasons, and especially BRRR as applied to multi-families, and wholesaling as a business development opportunity. I would love to meet and chat with any local investors here in Berlin, or Melbourne Australia, or London the UK, naturally however making new friends from anywhere is always great. I am really looking forward to learning more and making new friends here as I continue on this exciting journey!! I am in the process of planning the initiation of a Virtual Wholesaling business focusing on the UK market. I am a Brit living in Berlin, so this seems to be the best option for me, given that the German RE market is not so active and is very insular from what I can gather, and my German is not yet strong enough for contract and price negotiations. Note: I began investing activities in other markets, taking my first position in 2014. Other than through my Australian Superannuation ( I am a dual national Australian/British) I have not yet completed a property deal. YET! As I will be beginning regular wholesale activities which will most likely include the incorporation of a company, I have given myself the professional Title on my profile of Director, because I am the Captain of my Fate.
