I've been investing in the Portland and Vancouver areas since 2005. When I began there was no end to the bubble in sight and I can look back at my first couple deals and recognize they were mistakes. Without a historical perspective on the market, I had no idea what I was getting into. After recovering from the market collapse, I've grown my portfolio to over 40 properties, mostly SFH.
