My Name is Jason Smith and I have been investing since 2004 primarily into asset backed loans. With my background in finance I thought it was time to enter the "flipping game" of HARD assets besides the soft secondary market I was in. My very first wholesale deal was a cute 3/2 that sat on a busy street, not knowing much about wholesaling I use the same techniques from my loan buying business and got the property under contract for 15k. It had very little repair work and sold it within 6 days to a very nice family for 25k CASH (not your typical wholesale deal but man I was excited) and that spread was great for not knowing what I was doing. I made about $5500 on that deal and that was back in 2011. They say you never forget that first one...oh boy I didnt Now, the market has change again (2020) and its time to try on other hat...ready to start connecting with like minded investors and also newbies-Cheers
