Hi, My story into real estate started when I was 12 years old. My landlord was an inspiration for me and when he asked me if I was interested in helping him with keeping the property clean by taking out the trash every week, I jumped on the opportunity. For a better part of that Spring, I spent time shadowing the handyman. I probably was so annoying pestering him with questions but it helped me to develop the skills I still use today to make the necessary repairs on our own properties at home and at work. By the time I was 16 years old I was convinced that I wanted to maintain and one day own my own properties. Big properties. Part of my dream came true when I was nineteen years old when I went to work for a developer/property manager who at the time was managing a 700k sf high-rise in the heart of Midtown in New York City. Figured I was doing something right. I took in the knowledge and skill necessary to maintain large commercial properties and by the time I was 30 years old, I was convinced and committed myself to learning all I needed to become a successful Real Estate Investor. To date at forty-five years of age, I'm still learning new things. Currently I'm working alongside a team of forclosure specialist in locating potential deals for our investors. The overall goal is to build on this experience onto the strategy of wholesaling and eventually buying and holding properties. The theorical journey has been long by being studious of the business and even earning my Salesperson License for New York State. But I did not want to leave investing in Real Estate to chance and now that I'm applying my knowledge in the practical sense, I feel as I'm living the dream. All that and I've yet to acquire my first investment property. Ultimate goal, 100 doors in residential income with multiple mid-rise office buildings in NYC.
