I have lived in Houston all of my life. My "full time" job is a business that I own in a real estate related field. In the course of my day to day work, I interact with developers involved in land deals in addition to local agencies where projects get approved and permitted. I have always been interested in real estate, but ultimately it was the stock market that drove me here. I was tired of leaving my money in the hands of others and getting mediocre results. A google search lead me to Bigger Pockets, which in turn led me to Brandon's Rental Investment book and the rest as they say is history.
