I'm a real estate broker/investor, an engineer, and a SCUBA instructor. I am always on the hunt for a real estate investing deal and have been for a while now. I've done a couple of deals already with buy and hold. Im looking for a contractor partner to help with the rehab side of the business. I would love to partner with someone that can compliment my strengths so that we can both excel. I'm open to investing in anything so long as the deal is right. I love exercising my creativity in finding a means to close the deal in the most mutually beneficial way. Creativity, particularly mutually beneficial, I believe is a critical part of building a successful and healthy real estate portfolio. What I can bring to the table is an entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem solving, real estate brokering capability and expertise, project management expertise, creative financing strategies, systematic thinking (I'm a process engineer by day), boots on the ground and blood sweat and tears, procurement capital, excellent credit with a W2 job, and a commitment to my partners to do everything I possibly can to make us successful. The help I need is with funding rehab and managing the day-to-day onsite construction. Otherwise, I'm ready and hungry. I want this badly and absolutely look forward to laying out a plan for you and I to be successful in getting out of the rat race together and building our business. Experience: I'm a licensed real estate broker and multi-state investor currently. My area of interest is in the east San Francisco Bay Area currently. I've been a practicing real estate broker for over 10 years and I'm an engineer of 15 years. I have negotiated and closed numerous real estate transactions including REOs, short sales, and distressed property sales. I have also owned several personal and investment homes. Being a full-time engineer has helped as my job is to develop systems to streamline activities and promote business growth. I've put together a few quick tools to help me quickly assess a property's value for my real estate investing somewhat akin to what is used on BiggerPockets. My experience in the corporate world has also developed my project and risk management skills as well as my business acumen when it comes to negotiations and contract management. Real Estate Goals: I want to find my financial freedom and move out of corporate America. I'm looking to grow in the investment world by any ethical means necessary. I'd love to purchase a 10+ unit multifamily property or partner with a syndicate in the next year or so. Ultimately my "why" is to be able to spend more time experiencing LIFE with my wife and family. My 9-5 feels like a prison that keeps me from being the husband and dad I want to be. Life is so precious and I feel like it's slipping away with each day I'm locked at my desk. I want out. I want to be able to do good in life and teach my children how to be good stewards with their world. I'd love to be able to do my part in protecting and preserving the world's oceans and do my part in rehabilitating and revitalizing neighborhoods for children and families to enjoy like I want to with my own children. That's my "why"... to make this world a better place for my family and with my family. Currently Seeking: I'm looking to purchase a high potential residential multifamily commercial property anywhere. I'd like to improve it to add value, hold it to generate cash flow, and use it to launch further growth of my total real estate portfolio.
