I am a BRRRRnB investor based in Coral Gables. I invest in both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, focusing on single and small multifamily homes. I buy, renovate, furnish, and then rent out the units as vacation rentals. So basically, BRRRR with AirBnb. I also have a few long term rentals as well. I have started with the single families and small multi families but am interested in passively investing in multi family syndications in order to diversify my portfolio and also reclaim my time. I founded a monthly Airbnb Hosts Miami MeetUp in the Miami area for people interested in the vacation rental space in Miami. Airbnb Hosts Miami currently boasts over 1000 members who are hosts, agents, managers, and others who service the vacation rental market in Miami. Airbnb Hosts Miami recently changed its name to Airbnb Hosts SoFL in order to expand our reach beyond Miami. I am a cohost of the Miami, FL branch of the Real Estate InvestHER community, whose mission is to support and inspire WOMEN real estate investors around the globe to live a financially free and balanced life. We are dedicated to creating empowering communities where women have a non-intimidating environment to ask questions and receive the support they need. Our vision is to see all women investors achieve their financial freedom goals on their own terms. Experience: I started investing in 2015 when my family moved to a new house. Instead of selling our old home, I made the decision to rent it out for income. Since then, I've purchased 3 triplexes which I have renovated and turned into 10 vacation rental units (will be 13 when I’m done renovating). I also just finished my first flip. Real Estate Goals: My ultimate goal is to replace my husband's W-2 income with passive income so we can go travel the world. My short-term goal is to net $20,000 a month within 5 years. Currently Seeking: I am looking to 10x my goals and move from Airbnb to resorts. I want to BRRRR a resort property so I am currently on the lookout for a run-down resort property that has good wedding venue potential like a plantation, vineyard, beach resort, or lakefront with multiples acres.
