Currently: Looking to start BRRRRing properties in an area with good R/V ratios. I’ve selected Indianapolis. I started saving a small down payment to buy an overpriced, tiny condo in Los Angeles about a year ago. Recently, a friend told me about turnkey properties in the mid-South and that I'm better off renting in LA, so I started learning about real estate investing. This led me to the BiggerPockets podcast and the long-distance BRRRR strategy. Status: I’ve selected the market, I have a couple neighborhoods to target, and now I’m setting up a team. I just finished reading David Greene's BRRRR book in June, and I've broken it down into actionable steps. I made some checklists so I can plan ahead and I don't miss anything while BRRRRing.
