Jeff Sims

I have been a residential real estate investor since 2000. It was a leap of faith buying that first house and over the next several years I bought 2-3 houses per year. In 2013, I bought 17 houses from a retiring investor that were owner financed (win-win!). From 2000 thru 2016, I continued my full time career as a commercial loan officer and grew my "part-time" real estate business into 33 single family homes. In 2016, my real estate portfolio allowed me to retire from a 27 year banking career, but I soon realized I wanted something more to do with my time. In 2017, I started my second career handling the accounting for a local RE property management company. It has been a great fit. I never imagined real estate would be my passion and I enjoy providing many families their biggest investment (my house is their home), being a DIY'er, and owning/managing my own business.
