Jeremy Drawas

I grew up in North Carolina as a die-hard New England Patriots fan. At about age 16, I met a plumber in his 30's that seemed to be better off than the average plumber. He told me that he owned ~20 investment properties and had set himself up for financial independence. When I asked him to teach me, he had me read "Rich Dad Poor Dad". I read the book and it changed my life. With this gentleman's council, I spent the next 4 years gaining the skills I needed and setting myself up to buy my first house. At the age of 20 I was able to secure a property by the skin of my teeth. I have since continued to grow my RE portfolio and slowly move towards financial independence. I owe everything to that humble plumber -- he set my life on a drastic new course. I am always seeking ways to pay it forward in honor of him.
