A corporate guy by day and entrepreneur by night, I've worked in real estate since 2006 focusing on flips to generate capital while steadily building a portfolio of passive income-producing properties. I've invested out-of-state and in-state, from turnkeys to BRRRRs. Having lived in San Diego for 10 years, I also worked as a commercial mortgage broker for investors on both Coasts for 4 years so I understand many commercial asset classes, from multifamily to airports. I've done a couple dozen flips, have held up to 18 properties, and love helping others learn from my experience. I'm a licensed realtor in Kansas who specializes in out-of-state investors -- including professional, institutional investors -- who want to build turnkey SFR portfolios rapidly and trade-up to multi-family deals via 1031 exchanges. Because I've worked on both SFRs and MF, I enjoy helping clients take that first big step into MF deals. I take a long-term view of real estate investing and have a distaste for those trying to make a quick buck. For this reason, I focus on long-term wealth-building in my investor relationships, following the guidance from a mentor: "Always, ALWAYS protect your investors."
