Landlord to one tenant while living in the property, then landlord to three tenants when we moved to a single family home (and inherited a tenant in the carriage house of our new house). Rehabbed carriage house once prior tenant moved out and was able to re-rent to new tenants for double the rent because of the quality of the rehab. Sold our two family rental in late ’12. Closed on a four unit in late summer 2015. Currently have two tenants in place and finishing up rehabbing final two units hopefully very soon....slow going when it's just the two of us doing all the rehab... Real Estate Goals: Eventually hoping to invest in larger rental properties in the buffalo area. Finally took the Real Estate Salesperson class in December '15 and passed the NYS Exam. Just started working with CBRE|Buffalo, as a Commercial Real Estate Salesperson.
