Professionally, I'm an HSE professional in the Oil and Gas Industry. I work on the North Slope of Alaska (yes, brrrr)! I'm also a Certified Personal Trainer and although I don't work in the gym anymore, I still have clients that I love to torture. Kale, anyone? Personally, I'm a born and raised Alaskan who hates being cold. I'm a total cat lady and wine-o, which of course, go together like PB&J. I'm an avid traveler and have racked up 33 countries and 6 continents. Most importantly, I would probably kill for a chocolate chip cookie...I have a problem. Real Estately, I bought my first home in 2011. After spending a few years "looking into" real estate and reading all the Rich Dad Poor Dad books, paying a few bucks for some seminars and wasting time on some investment groups, I bought a single family ZZL in South Anchorage, Alaska. I learned some really "fun" Landlord lessons when I moved out of my home for a year. I refinanced my place in 2015 so I could pursue buying more property! Finally purchased my first multi-family property (after 4 offers and 3 terminated contracts) in 2017. I manage my properties myself because I don't believe in paying someone else to collect rent. I do a thorough pre-screen and have AMAZING tenants. I love cozy.co and recommend it to all Landlords. I'm an avid listener of the House Flipping HQ and Rental Income Properties Podcasts and recommend them to ANYONE looking at purchasing real estate as a business. Real Estate Goals: I've got a 15 year retirement plan and hoping to make the real estate market and some personal business ventures work for me! So long, Rat Race! I currently have 5 doors and am considering the jump from rental properties to flipping after a move to sunnier weather and milder winters. Currently Seeking: A foreclosure property in Boise, Idaho!!
