I am a trade show coordinator in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and I am building a real estate portfolio on the side. I am looking to buy and hold income properties and grow my STR portfolio. Experience: I started my real estate investing career in 1997, when I house hacked my townhouse in Savannah, GA for a few years. I took a few years off before closing on my first four-plex, in south Fort Worth, in February 2016. It is 2 buildings, each with two units that have two beds and two baths, a living and kitchen, a patio, and a laundry room on the property. We renovating the laundry to accommodate 2 washers and 2 dryers. We also fixed a lot of the rotted wood siding, bad plumbing, and minor repairs. We converted this to section 8 housing. We sold this property in Spring 2019. I purchased two duplexes, next door to each other, in Granbury TX, in 2017. In 2019 we sold the four-plex and duplexes and jumped into the vacation rental niche. We purchased an STR 1 bed 1 bath condo in Galveston, TX, and an STR 2 bed 2 Bath in Surfside Beach, TX. We are learning and enjoying this niche market. We completed our first BRRRSTR in Fredericksburg, TX. Real Estate Goals: My real estate objective is to grow my business by providing passive income to accredited investors through acquiring vacation rental properties and long-term rentals. Currently Seeking: I am currently seeking to buy, flip and hold single-family homes in the fort worth area. And STR in the Newberg, OR, Gatlinburg, TN, Pigeon Forge, TN, Nashville, TN, Savannah, GA, and Jasper, AR areas. I am looking for vacation rentals that can provide a unique experience for guests who stays at our STR.
