I am currently educating myself about real estate and beginning to network within the area. Interests so far are into buy and hold investing of SFH and I would lke to scale eventually into multifamily/commercial real estate. Feel free to reach out! More background: After college, I got a job in Rochester, NY and moved into an apartment I found on craigslist in the desirable Park Ave neighborhood with 3 random people subletting a room. I soon found out this was not for me and looked into buying a house. Many homes in this neighborhood were out of my price range and so I moved slightly out to an up and coming neighborhood ( didn't know that at the time). Since finding BP, it turns out the term house hacking has been what I have been doing. I have since sold that house due to the extraordinary rise in value and used that to buy a new primary. After living in that primary for a year , I was able to do a HELOC and get another new primary and turn the previous into a rental. I will now undergo and hone my skills as landlord which will be very exciting. I am now just saving until I can find a duplex to be able to expand. I have a passion for cars and tinkering on projects and hope that real estate investing will be able to allow me to learn new skills, gain financial independence... as well as fund my passion for cars!
