Experience: My wife and I are excited to be involved in Real Estate Investment and are in the process of learning all we can to make the best decisions moving forward. We entered into Real Estate Investing in 2016 with the acquisition of our first two Single Family Homes. Since 2016 we continued with the acquisition of some more single family and multifamily homes in multiple states. Most of these properties were acquired through Turnkey providers and fortunately all of our properties are occupied with positive cash flow, and most importantly with good property managers. In 2022 we began our move into Multifamily and continue looking into other markets to learn as we grow our portfolio. Real Estate Goals: Long Term: Continue to develop a rental property portfolio that will ensure that our rentals will be able to contribute a steady, positive cash flow throughout our retired life. Short Term: 1) Find good REI Meetup Groups to begin attending meetings on a regular basis to develop resources and insight into further development of our goals and processes. 2) Determine what cities to move forward with property acquisition 3) Develop a team in each of the cities that we will acquire properties 4) Work with each team to learn cities where to look & where not to look as well as what are the price ranges for the best ROI and Cash Flow 5) Focus on acquisition of Class C properties in Class B areas . . . with good ROI 6) Transition into Muiltifamily properties Currently Seeking: Hoping to develop relationships and resources to assist in learning all we can about investing in real estate with the goal of avoiding many of the pitfalls that plague many new investors. Looking for insight on the best areas to invest in rental properties and the process and challenges of building the best team.
