John C. Kuitwaard

Since purchasing my first house in 1998 I have been a real estate investor. That house was what I now know is called a "hack", that I lived in with 3 of my closest friends. At one point I even added a bedroom and another friend for increased revenue. After growing out of the bachelor pad lifestyle I purchased another home for myself but was able to hold the first house and rented it to a family. This happened yet again when I bought a house with my (now) wife. During this time I also sold one of my businesses and used the proceeds to purchase a 2 family house. My current portfolio consists of 2 SFR's, 1 Duplex, and a Vacation Rental in Fire Island NY. When I'm not thinking about my next deal my "real" job consists of running a contract food service company providing dining services to Colleges and Universities in and around NYC, as well as a franchise management company operating restaurant franchises. I am actively growing both of these companies. As you can see from my profile pic I am a former professional racecar driver. I am looking to get back into racing on 2019.
