John Conlon

I’m John Conlon, a licensed North Carolina real estate broker and the owner of Devoting Homes, a local real estate solutions company based in Franklin County. My work focuses on helping homeowners sell properties efficiently while fully understanding their options. Depending on the situation, that may involve a direct cash purchase, a traditional MLS listing, or simply walking through the numbers so a seller can make an informed decision. I believe the best outcomes happen when people understand the tradeoffs before committing to a path. From an investment perspective, I’m most active with properties that need repairs, inherited homes, problem rentals, and situations where timing or certainty matters more than maximizing retail value. I take a straightforward approach to underwriting, communicate expectations clearly, and prioritize clean, realistic deals that make sense for all parties involved. Because I’m also a licensed broker, I’m able to look at transactions from both an investor and market standpoint — evaluating exit strategies, pricing, and timelines with transparency rather than pressure. I enjoy connecting with other investors, agents, and operators to exchange insights, talk process, and learn what’s working in today’s market.
