My Name is John. I am a Diesel Mechanic and CDLA driver by trade. I am right now diving in head first into real estate, Not saying I am going to make mistakes and I am constantly trying to learn and affiliate myself with professionals. I work in the Western Pennsylvania area predominantly because this is where I live, however I am not opposed to investing in other areas if the numbers work. I am on track to purchase a excellent duplex with the owner financing about 82% of the purchase. This will be my first property and I am excited. The other good thing is it actually has good tenants and that is everything. I also am working on my second house that is a gamble in a somewhat rough neighborhood but here again I found a good tenant. My next move is to get more investors and go after the Wholesale side of it and also do rehabbing, with my goal to make some cash flow so I can purchase more properties and keep half of them for a buy and hold to improve my portfolio. I am always looking for investors and that is the major hurtle that most investors face is having access to money. I have found that if you are going to make it in real estate it is best to be honest and work on developing a good working relationship with other professionals. I try to stay humble and remain teachable because that way I might find someone who knows more than I that will teach me.
