I went into business for myself 15 years ago by opening a retail sunglass shop which is successful to this day. It's a good business but I felt diversification of my business and cash flow was very important. So I went to real estate school and in November of 2014 I acquired my real estate license from the state of Louisiana. I quickly learned being a full time real estate agent meant giving up control of my scheduling which conflicted with my business and personal life. To solve this problem and maximize my new knowledge, skills and thepower of the MLS, I decided to become a real estate investor. As an investor I am focused on flipping and wholesaling houses. To help increase my knowledge of flipping and wholesaling I have read a number of books which includes being a student in the Lifeonaire program and my brokerage Keller Williams. Because of my studies and execution of my studies I closed on my first flip house on July 3, 2015 and I am now looking at a profit of $40,000 (estimated).
