Johnny Lujan

I’m a CPA in Colorado Springs and the owner of Alpine CPA Services. My focus is helping individual real estate investors make sense of the tax side of rental ownership. Before becoming a CPA, I spent about 8 years as a real estate agent, so I enjoy working with investors because I understand both the real estate conversation and the tax conversation. I primarily work with individuals who own 1–5 rentals, including long-term rentals, STRs, and W-2 earners using real estate to build wealth. I like helping investors understand things like depreciation, passive losses, STR tax rules, repairs vs. improvements, and what happens tax-wise when they sell or refinance a property. My goal is to make real estate tax clearer, more proactive, and less transactional.
