Hello BiggerPockets, my name is John. I currently work as an urban planner in a north Atlanta suburb, but real estate investing is my side hustle. As an investor, I have joined BiggerPockets to connect with like-minded investors that share a passion for investing in real estate. I am a buy and hold investor, and have owned and managed both short-term and long-term rentals in the states of Georgia, Colorado, and South Dakota. I am active in the FIRE movement, and have been particularly aggressive in pursuing early financial freedom through real estate investing. Today, my portfolio includes a 4-plex, and two single-family properties; but in the next two to three years, I plan to scale my portfolio to 15-25 units with passive income.
