John R. Whittington

My Name is John Whittington. Currently my wife (Kim) and I run a small trucking business. We are looking to transition from driving over the road and managing other drivers to generating income through the flipping of single family homes. Our current farm area is in the Radcliff, KY area. I spent over 20 years in the United states Army, and as such my wife and I have moved over 26 times. We have owned four different homes. I have managed large amounts of real estate over the past 30 years. In the Army this consisted mainly of repair and maintenance of numerous buildings. As a manager with Frito-Lay I had profit and loss responsibility along with repair and maintenance of buildings and grounds throughout the state of Alabama. I am looking forward to learning all I can from this site, and if possible, passing on a little bit of what I know to other individuals at BiggerPockets.
