I've always had an interest in real estate and by using this site I intend on learning about the RE industry and what it takes to become successful. Please connect with me and lets start a conversation. Experience: None. I'm new. Learning everyday on BP. Uupdated 11/14/17 Recently made my first offer on a 2 family house. Asked the owner to do seller financing but he balked. He said he had a loan to payoff and couldn't accommodate me. So I'm one step closer to getting my first deal done. Update 12/27/17 I've been running a direct mail marketing campaign aimes at absentee owners with over 80% equity in NJ. This has lead to several phone calls. I have visited 3 more houses, and none were investment worthy. I am visiting a fourth on Sunday and am very excited about this one. Real Estate Goals: My short term goals include meeting a mentor to develop a relationship with as well as meeting others in my shoes. My medium term goals include doing a few deals, and my longer term goals are to become a self-sufficient RE investor. Currently Seeking: I'm seeking a mentor. In return for the mentors advice and guidance and I can offer doing some of the less then desirable tasks that the mentor no longer wants to do. Contact me and lets discuss. I have found my mentor and he is awesome! 12/7/2018 So I've completed my first BRRR deal. I bought it Aug 23, and I rehabbed it, and have now refi'd the deal. I will go to closing in a few weeks. I used none of my own money. All LOC's and cc's. I have also made my 2nd acquisition. I'm doing a formal walk through with my contractor on Monday to make sure we saw everything the first time. The wheels keep turning!
