HI BP Family , I'm Jokari Trueheart (AKA) J.T. and I'm a real estate investor residing in the historic state of Virginia. I started my investing career at 22 years old and still doing it 20+ years later, but this time instead of primarily fix n flips, I'm focusing a lot more on buy and hold multi-family properties and looking to build a portfolio from scratch. I purchased my first units in Texas, currently have 8 units recently purchased in January 2024, and looking to add on more soon, I've been in the mortgage business practically my whole life thus far, from branch management to processing and underwriting mortgage loans, we in the lending world like to call it the (behind the curtain people) who make the real estate world run. So I have extensive knowledge on conventional lending, but I am had to quickly learn over the past 3 years that the investing side of the business has similarities but I still have a lot to learn. I'm looking to build my portfolio and let go of the corporate w-2 world, and partner up with other investors, learn everything there is to know in this business to become my own Real Estate Tycoon.
