Hi! I’m Jon Hill and I’m a real estate investor and agent in Denver, CO. Born and raised in Denver, I closed on my first property in December of 2017, a townhouse that I house hacked for a year in Thornton. It was a pre-foreclosure and need a good amount of work. I rented out the extra bedroom to help off set cost. After completing most of the work needed I moved out and turned into a full rental. Because I was able to get it below market rate it now cash flows! Two years later, in June 2019, I closed on my second house. This time a duplex in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Each side was two beds and one bath. I partnered on it with a friend from high school. He lives in one side with a roommate to keep his rent cheaper and the other side we rent out both rooms to college kids. By doing this we are able to cash flow!!!
