I am currently in the Oil and Gas industry and am looking to invest in real estate part-time. My partner is also looking to get into real estate with me and is currently in the process of getting licensed as a real estate agent. Real Estate Goals: I am currently looking to purchase a cash flowing property by the end of 2017 (either a condo downtown Calgary or a detached home with two units). Future Goals: 1) Purchase a duplex/triplex/fourplex in 2018 2) Purchase a home to house hack in late 2018 or early 2019 3) Purchase a multifamily complex in 2019 (at least 6 units) Far Future Goals: 1) Explore owning hotels 2) Become a hard money lender Currently Seeking: Always seeking to learn more from experienced investors in the Calgary area.
