I live in Woodbury, MN and I am a professional engineer in Civil Engineering and Self Storage Investor. Experience: I consider myself a Maxi-Storage investor. I currently have three facilities, invested through a syndication for a 4th and I am working on acquiring another property. The three main facilities are a 18,000 SF warehouse that is subdivided, a 72,000 SF facility made up of large storage units primarily for businesses, and a 56,000 SF facility with medium-large storage units primarily for boats and RVs. The syndicated deal is right in my wheelhouse too. It's an RV and boat storage facility with outdoor and covered storage in Punta Gorda, FL. Always looking for more deals that revolve around storage - indoor, outdoor, large, and small! Real Estate Goals: I bypassed the goal of achieving $10k/month in investment income within 1 year or quitting my day job. Next stop is achieving $500k/year in annual investment income. That is my 3-year goal. I supposed that means adding one ore more storage facility per year to get there. Currently Seeking: Passive Investment capital. Too many deals, too little money! Also looking for better information on rolling over an old 401K into a self-directed IRA or solo 401K to use for real estate investing. I'm not opposed to investing in someone else's deals. I currently have a few friends that are looking to place money in the right deal with the right returns. If you have self storage deals or money, look me up!
